§ 2.16.270. Expenses.

A.

The city shall pay all necessary election expenses, including those of securing polling places and providing ballot boxes, ballots, voting booths or screens, flags, and other supplies and any wages to election officials unless otherwise provided by this code.

B.

The city shall pay each election board member and canvass board member for the time spent at their election duties, including the receiving of instructions. An hourly rate shall be determined by resolution adopted by the city council before each election board member and canvass board member shall be appointed.
