§ 2.16.130. Ballots—Distribution.

    The city clerk shall have the ballots in his or her possession at least fifteen (15) days before each regular election. The ballots may be inspected by any candidate whose name is on the ballot, or authorized agent, and any mistake discovered shall be corrected immediately.

    B.

    Sufficient ballots for the registered voters of the precinct shall be delivered to the election board in a sealed package, with the number of ballots enclosed clearly marked on the outside of the package. A receipt shall be taken from the election board member to whom the package is delivered. The receipts shall be preserved for one year with other records of election.
