§ 16.16.030. Final plat—Engineering standards.

  • The final plat shall be drawn on drafting mylar. All lines and printing shall be made with a waterproof nonfading ink at a scale of one hundred (100) feet to an inch or a scale agreed upon at the preliminary consultation by the planning commission and subdivider. The final plat shall show accurately on its face:

    A.

    The date, scale and northpoint.

    B.

    The exact length and bearing of the exterior boundaries of the subdivision and exterior boundaries and names of adjacent properties.

    C.

    The bearing and distances of all lot lines.

    D.

    The layout, width and bearing of all streets and rights-of-way, such as alleys, highways, easements for sewers, water mains, and other public uses.

    E.

    The radii of all curves and length of tangents.

    F.

    An identification system for all lots and blocks and a legal description of all property being subdivided.

    G.

    A certificate of approval of the planning commission.

    H.

    The name of the subdivision and name and address of the subdivider, all owners and lienholders.

    I.

    Where there is any dedication of real property, rights of way or easements the final plat shall contain a written dedication of such property.
